Brief presentation of the institution

 As an R&D company, Beam ArGe has been involved in the application of laser and optical systems in a rather industrialised part of the country with many large international companies. The global interest in the region brings extra demands for cutting-edge technologies ranging from various metallic nanoparticle production, laser processing such as welding, cutting and machine processing to spectrometers. This global exposure through these large international companies allows us interact on a global scale with their respected R&D departments.  Being based at the Technopark of Kocaeli University brings many advantages such as various grant schemes as well as tax incentives as an R&D company. A number of internationally renowned scientists are involved with a number of research staff and students working in the company in collaboration with Laser Technologies Research and Application Center (LATARUM). The research driving SME BeamArGe is specialized on LIBS and spectroscopy.

BEAM ArGe has published papers on laser produced nanoparticles in liquid. It developes Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) system to analyse materials in liquid.

 BEAM ArGe has nanosecond pulsed Nd:YAG lasers to produce nanoparticles in liquid. The company uses High speed camera, spectrometers to diagnose plasma.
